App reviews
Get a clear view of what your app needs.
An app review helps you decide what needs attention before investing in the next change. Bring the product and the questions you need answered.
Review around the decision you need to make.
You might be deciding whether to extend an app, investigate recurring bugs, or address slow screens. We can agree whether the review should focus on behavior, implementation, performance, or a specific part of the product.
Make the findings useful.
A useful review connects a finding to its effect on the product. The aim is to distinguish issues that interrupt users from changes that can wait, so you have a clear basis for choosing the next work.
Share the app and the questions.
Start with a link or build, the platforms it supports, and the concerns you’ve noticed. If code access is needed, we can agree how to share it. Keep private credentials and sensitive user data out of the initial message.
Before we start
Can you review an app another developer built?
Yes. Existing app work is part of what I offer. Share the technology and the problem you want to understand so we can agree a suitable scope.
Can you fix the issues after the review?
Yes. Bug fixes, feature work, maintenance and performance improvements can be discussed as follow-up development work.
Do you need access to the code?
It depends on the review. A product walkthrough can start with a link or build; an implementation review needs access to the relevant code. We can agree the access needed before starting.
Tell me what you’re working on.
Share the product, the problem, or the role you have in mind.
